Education and Outreach Programs

Knoxville Opera is proud to present a variety of programs in our community, which impact up to 80,000 students and adults each year. During the past seven seasons:

  • 300,000+ people have flocked to our Rossini Festivals,
  • 35,000+ students have been captivated by our in-school opera productions,
  • 10,000+ students have enjoyed Opera 101 at their schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, and YMCA After-school Programs,
  • 6,000+ students have been awed at our Student Dress Rehearsals,
  • 5,000+ fans have rocked the walls at our Knoxville Opera Goes to Church concerts,
  • 3,000+ students have engaged with distinguished African-American artists at our in-school African-American Artists Series,
  • and so much more!
