Raise your glass and toast such timeless classics as "Deep in my Heart," "Golden Days," "Gaudeamus Igitur," the beautiful "Serenade," and, of course the students' famous "Drinking Song."

Thrill to a star vocal trio in tribute to our honored patrons!
Return to the Bijou Theatre, site of Knoxville Opera's inaugural performance in 1978, and pay tribute to Knoxville Opera's newest Hall of Fame inductees. Three internationally acclaimed artists will share the spotlight in a thrilling program containing some of opera's most dramatic and beautiful tenor scenes. The overwhelming program includes the powerful finale of Boito's Mefistofele, excerpts from Verdi's Il Trovatore and La Traviata, and the Tennessee premiere of his historic Hymn of the Nations (a Toscanini favorite).

Overwhelming passion drives an opera diva to murder!
One of the world's most alluring characters comes to life on the stage in the persona of the famous opera singer, Floria Tosca. Her passionate love for the painter and political activist, Mario Cavaradossi, thrusts her into a dark and dangerous arena where enemies of the State are imprisoned and executed at the ruthless hands of the Chief of Secret Police, Baron Scarpia. This fascinating tale of lust, greed, corruption and spine-tingling mystery is a masterpiece from beginning to end. Presented in Italian with projected English translation.

d) Involvement with the founding of KO
