There are 2 ways to do this at home. You can use a smartphone or tablet, or you can use a web browser on you computer.

If you would like to bid on our auction at home on a smartphone or tablet please follow these instructions:

STEP 1:  DOWNLOAD THE HANDBID APP

If you have an iPhone or Android, you can download the Handbid app from the Apple iTunes App Store or the Google Play store.

Please note we strongly recommend you “Accept notifications from this App” when you open it and join an auction. This will allow you to get push notifications for  “Outbid” messages during the auction.

STEP 2:  SIGNUP

Next you can create an account. From the App home screen, tap on “GET STARTED” button and complete the information (please use your cell phone as the phone number). Tap NEXT

Handbid will text you a 5 digit code.  Enter this code to login.

Once you are logged in, select STREAMLINER BALL from the list of auction and START BIDDING!

AMERICA’S GREAT TRAINS offered more than just transportation – they opened up an exciting new world of luxury, romance, and sophisticated fun.  They epitomized the power and prestige of a growing America – a Nation on the move!  Join the Knoxville Opera Guild as we step back in time to experience the romance of the great Streamliners – the Super Chief, the 20th Century Limited, The Tennessean.

We’ll be entering that world of Art Deco sophistication.  Enjoy classic Parlor Car cocktails then dinner in the Diner, brought to you by one of Knoxville’s hottest young chefs, Matt Gallaher of Emilia and Knox Mason fame.  His gourmet creations for this Streamliner Ball are being adapted from original Dining Car recipes!  Then it’s classic on-board entertainment, featuring Knoxville Opera’s Pirates of Penzance stars Claire Coolen and Sean Anderson.  Then, dance the night away as the world slips by …  All aboard!

We are very pleased to announce that catering is being provided by chef Matt Gallaher of Emilia and Knox Mason fame. His gourmet creations for this Streamliner Ball were adapted from original Dining Car recipes. The menu for the evening includes:
