Single tickets for Cavalleria Rusticana are only available in person or by phone.
Subscriptions may be purchased August 1, 2018 – February 15, 2019 either at the Box Office or by phone.

Discount Programs

Knoxville Opera offers a discount of 25% for groups of ten or more people purchasing tickets to a single performance in sections A, B, or C.

Students of all ages are invited to attend the final rehearsals of all opera productions free of charge. Adults chaperoning students pay $5 in cash for admittance. Doors open one hour prior to these rehearsals.

The Impresario/Gianni Schicchi; Wednesday, October 24 at 6:30 at the Tennessee Theatre.
Lucia di Lammermoor; Wednesday, February 20 at 6:30 at the Tennessee Theatre.

In addition, Knoxville Opera’s participation in the Penny4Arts program provides for a limited number of free student tickets to performances of The Impresario/Gianni Schicchi and Lucia di Lammermoor. These tickets may be obtained either in advance by calling the Knoxville Opera Box Office (865-524-0795 ext. 1) or by visiting the Gay Street Tennessee Theatre Box Office one hour prior to performances. Up to two free student admissions are available per adult paying for a full-price ticket. 

Attending Performances

Please allow extra time for parking and security lines. For the safety and security of all patrons, all persons and items entering the Tennessee Theatre are subject to search.  Please be aware of these items, which are prohibited at the Tennessee Theatre:

  • Weapons of any kind, including pocket knives.
  • Outside food and beverages.
  • Smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes.
  • Large backpacks, bags, over-sized purses, etc.
