How To Buy Tickets & Make Exchanges
Ordering Tickets Online
Individual tickets may be ordered online up to 24 hours prior
to each performance. Tickets will be available for sale online
after all season ticket sales have been processed, generally no
later than two months prior to a production. To order tickets for
performances that are currently available online, choose “Tickets
Online” and select the production and date of performance
that you desire. You will be guided through the online purchase
process. A credit or debit card is required for online purchases.
By Phone or In Person
Purchase tickets any time of year by calling the Knoxville Opera
Box Office at 865-524-0795, option 1. The Box Office is open Monday
through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. You may also visit
the Knoxville Opera office at 612 E. Depot Avenue during business
hours to make your purchase in person.
On performance days, the Box Office staff will be present at
the performance venue beginning no later than an hour prior to curtain time. You may purchase tickets at the venue Box
Office at that time.
The Knoxville Opera Box Office accepts cash, checks and all
major credit cards.
Ticket Exchange Policy
Ticket exchanges are available for season ticket holders and season
sampler holders only. Individual tickets may not be exchanged
for any reason. Season subscribers may exchange their subscription
tickets for another performance of the same opera, subject to
availability, at no additional charge. Subscribers may also exchange
their tickets by phone. Tickets should be exchanged no later than
72 hours prior to a performance when possible. To exchange season
tickets, call or stop by the Knoxville Opera Box Office.
